The JRC also stands ready to advise and assist organizers of downtown events on logistics, obtaining proper city permits, community outreach, and use of utility panels.

Venues

Several downtown event venues are managed by JRC.

Winter Garden Plaza

313 North Main Street

A 5,000 sq. ft. paved plaza with trees, stepped-seating, and great views of the surrounding cityscape, Winter Garden Plaza was built in 2010-2011 on the site of the old Winter Garden Theater. The plaza can be reserved for community events and offers access to electricity.

Potters Terrace

East Third Street at Potters Alley

Also known as Wood Park and AIDS Memorial Park, Potters Terrace is a small pocket park in downtown Jamestown comprised of large planters with built-in seating. The space includes a mural map of downtown and is adjacent to the Potters gALLErY public artwork project. Available for small events.

Renaissance Square

West Third Street at Lafayette Street

A small park with benches, landscaping, and a raised podium for musical performances or public artwork, Renaissance Square is adjacent to the Northwest Arena and BWB Center. Available for small events.

River Park

Riverwalk, just west of Washington Street bridge

With commanding views of downtown Jamestown and the Chadakoin River, the River Park features a small amphitheater for musical performances and outdoor workshops. The park is adjacent to a part of the Jamestown Riverwalk that includes seating and fishing access.
