CRCF to Sponsor Christmas Parade Fireworks

by | Nov 23, 2016 | Uncategorized

Businesses are expanding their hours and holiday decorations are lighting up the streets of downtown Jamestown in preparation for The Gift Exchange Christmas Parade and Holiday Celebration, presented by The Resource Center. One key part of the holiday parade year after year is the fireworks display lit from the top of the Spring Street parking ramp. Thanks to a generous contribution from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, the fireworks will again be a part of the 2016 event.

The Gift Exchange Christmas Parade and Holiday Celebration takes place Friday, December 2, at 6:30 pm along Third Street in downtown Jamestown, New York.

“The downtown Jamestown Christmas parade and holiday celebration is an event many look forward to all year,” said Randy Sweeney executive director for CRCF. “We are happy to be a part of such a wonderful community tradition,” said Sweeney. Community residents attending the parade on will be able to see the fireworks from many different vantage points in the downtown area.

Aside from The Resource Center and CRCF, the Gift Exchange Christmas Parade and Holiday Celebration is also sponsored by Shults Auto Group (Official Transportation of Santa Claus) and Elite Kreation$ Auto Detailing (Official Transportation of the Grand Marshall).
